Gold Coast Counselling Fees and Information

Who Will Benefit?

Individuals, couples, families or employees with issues such as:

What is Involved?

Counselling as an individual, couple or family.

Sessions are up to 60 minutes each with the initial session taking a little longer.

What is the Cost?

$140 - $225
(GST exempt – see note on fees page)

Medicare rebates may apply. To claim a Medicare rebate a referral is required from your GP, Psychiatrist or Pediatrician.

Private counselling sessions are available without a referral; however, Medicare rebates will not apply. Guidelight Psychology accepts payment by cash, EFTPOS and credit card (Visa and Mastercard Only).

Personal Support Program

Who Will Benefit?

People who are receiving a benefit from Centrelink and are identified as having a range of barriers to employment. Clients must meet relevant criteria determined by Job Capacity Assessment Advisor.

What is Involved?

Individual counselling for approximately 6 sessions to help address difficulties in obtaining and maintaining employment or work. Individual counselling. Sessions are up to 60 minutes each.

What is the Cost?

This is a free service to clients who are eligible and referred to us by an Allied health professional from a Job Capacity Account (JCA) Assessor.

Private counselling sessions are available without a referral; however, Medicare rebates will not apply.

WorkCover

Who Will Benefit?

People who are receiving a benefit from their employer’s workers compensation insurer.  Clients must meet relevant criteria determined by the workers compensation assessor.

What is Involved?

Individual counselling to help address difficulties in returning to work following a work related injury. Individual counselling. Sessions are up to 60 minutes each.

What is the Cost?

This is a free service to clients who are eligible and referred by a workers’ compensation insurer.
